The shape of the agreement.

Three documents define the relationship between you and Invice: the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, and (for organizations on Team and Enterprise plans) a Data Processing Agreement available on request.

We do not bury terms. Every section is written to be read by a person, not screened by a parser. When something is operationally important (what data we keep, how long, who can access it) we say so in plain English in the document itself and explain the reason next to the rule.

Operator

Invice is an independent research project operated from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Acceptable use

Invice agents may not be used to send unsolicited bulk email, to impersonate a person or organization other than the workspace owner, to harass, or to attempt to extract data from third parties through deceptive practices. You are the sender of every message you send or approve through Invice, and you are solely responsible for having any consent or other lawful basis required to contact each recipient, including under Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). The full acceptable-use policy is codified in section 6 of the Terms.

Jurisdiction

These agreements are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Ottawa.
